KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Avid bike riders will be happy to hear that Knoxville is getting a little more cyclist-friendly.
There is a brand new "bike corral" in the Old City, converted from an on-street parking space on Central Street. It includes six bike racks and sits right in front of Old City Java.
More bike racks have also gone up in the downtown area, in front of new businesses in the 400-block of Union Avenue, and more are planned for the south end of Market Square to make it easier for bikers to lock up their bikes while shopping and dining.
