GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The first legal moonshine distillery in Tennessee says it's expanding operations to open a 2nd store in Pigeon Forge.
Ole Smokey Tennessee Moonshine plans to open another retail store at The Island in Pigeon Forge. The store will feature the same elements as the original store in Gatlinburg.
“Opening an Ole Smoky location in Pigeon Forge will help us better serve the many visitors to our hometown,” said Joe Baker, Founder of Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine. “We’re excited to be a part of The Island. It's a great destination that offers a memorable experience for families visiting the area. We're confident that this location will become a must see for folks traveling to East Tennessee."
Set to open in late summer, the Pigeon Forge location will be called the Ole Smoky Barn.
