SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Sevier County water resort is set to open an all new attraction this year while racing into the 5th year of operation.
Wilderness at the Smokies is adding to its outdoor water slide collection this spring with the debut of the Cyclone Racer.
According to a resort news release, the four-lane high-speed water slide will turn guests into hydro-powered drag racers, starting 50 feet above the ground.
“The Cyclone Racer will give our guests something different to enjoy at Lake Wilderness, and will certainly get the competitive juices flowing between family members and friends,” said Steve Cruz, General Manager of Wilderness at the Smokies. “It will be a fantastic complement to all of our outdoor water attractions, especially the newly added Wild Vortex.”
Cyclone Racer is set to open in April at the Wilderness at the Smokies Resort in Sevierville.
