OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The cash mob strikes Oak Ridge again, this time in historic Jackson Square.
The Ferrell Shop opened for business 30 years ago. Despite tough times and increasing competition in the area, it's still alive and kicking.
The owner describes it as a gift shop with plenty to offer, like candles, China plates, and Christmas ornaments.
Barbara Ferrell says she's happy with the bump in business from the cash mob put on by Young Professionals of Oak Ridge, but it helps others too.
"I think it brings attention to the whole Square. Honestly there are people who have lived in Oak Ridge for many years and have never been to Jackson Square, so this will bring attention to it," said Ferrell.
This was the fifth different business the Oak Ridge Cash Mob has visited.
