OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) -- Another multi-million dollar project will double the size of an Oak Ridge company's current manufacturing space and lead to dozens of new jobs. Protomet Corp. said its $6.25 million expansion is its second multi-million dollar investment into the facility, 1010 Clarence Larsen Drive.
With all its new space, officials believe they'll be able to hire 30 more workers. The company, which built its first facility in Bethel Valley in 2005, specializes in precision manufacturing.
Oak Ridge Mayor Tom Beehan and other city leaders plan to join in for the ground breaking ceremony on Friday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m.
