Old computer gear can be recycled free Saturday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A recycling event Saturday in Knoxville will provide safe disposal of old electronic gear.

Knox County, the City of Knoxville, the Optimists Club of West Knoxville and the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad are joining to conduct the drop-off at Chilhowee Park.

There will be no charge to recycle old computers, printers and other electronic equipment. Drive-through service is available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the midway parking lot
