One arrested following west Knoxville apartment fire

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville man was arrested after he allegedly set fire to his couch at a west Knoxville apartment complex Wednesday morning. Sixty-five year-old Hayden Wilder has been charged with Aggravated Arson, the Knox C. Fire Dept. said.

Firefighters were able to get the sofa put out before the fire spread to any other apartments. They said water shooting from the sprinkler system caused most of the damage.

No firefighter was hurt battling the fire.
