An Oliver Springs man was killed in a rollover wreck on State Hwy. 327 late Sunday night. Fred Collins, Jr., 48, was riding in the front passenger seat when the 1999 Dodge Ram flipped over, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
THP reports indicate the truck was heading north near Phillips Hollow Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. when the driver, Otto Flachbart III, lost control and went off the road. He overcorrected twice before the truck flipped.
Flachbart was not injured in the wreck, nor were the two passengers in the back of the truck.
A member of Collins' family said two businesses, Collins Sanitation and Collins Wrecker, will remain closed until Thursday.
