KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- One man is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Knoxville.
Knoxville Police responded to a shooting at 714 N Harrison St near Washington Ave just before 11:00 pm.
The victim, William Jones, was taken to UT Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
During the investigation officers detained the suspect, Myron Hooper. After questioning witnesses, Hooper has been charged with First Degree Murder and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
