KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- It may feel like spring, but it looked like fall on the University of Tennessee's campus on Saturday.

Neyland Stadium was rocking with 68,548 fans for this year's Orange and White Game. It's the second largest crowd for a Spring football game in UT history.

"It's awesome. I love a turnout like this," Vol fan Justin Webb says, "It just shows how much Tennessee fans support this team and how much they love Tennessee football."

By 11 a.m. there were already thousand of fans on campus. The line to get into the stadium for player autographs wrapped around Thompson-Bowling Arena.

"Seeing how big this day is just gives you an indication of what fall is gonna be like," says Jim Penney.

"I know [head football coach] Butch Jones is pushing these players pretty hard, and I know he wants a winning season in 2014," says Webb.

There's a lot of hype heading into the new season. Tennessee has the fifth best recruiting class in the country.

"You get to see the freshmen, Jalen Hurd, Josh Malone, all of those guys," fan Rob Neal says. "We're looking forward to hopefully getting back to a bowl game."

Most fans Saturday seemed to have pretty high expectations for this team.

"I think we'll go pretty far this year, at least get a bowl game," Vol fan Tyler Williams says.

And what do fans hope to see this year on the field?

"Good, hard hitting, mostly. Hard hitting and catching some balls," Webb says.

"Hard hitting and good stuff from Butch," fan Elliott Aikam says.

From the player autographs to the classic family pictures in the end zone, it was a day for everyone to be "All Vol."
