KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra performed their annual Young People's Concert for thousands of elementary school kids. Every year it's a different theme and this year it was the "Orchestra Quiz Show".
The hour long performance included the symphony's take on game show like Jeopardy, The Price is Right and Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader.
It was a crowd pleasing collaboration for the kids as they learned more about music and where introduced to a different type of music.
Rachel Dellinger, from the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra said "This is a new experience for some of the students and we want to introduce them to the symphony. It's a way for them to learn and potentially come back to see us again."
It's a successful program that has been going on in Knoxville for the past 60 years and hopefully it will continue for the next 60 years.
