KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police say a homeless man was hit on Middlebrook at Clyde Street on Sunday around 8 p.m.
The man was identified this morning as 55-year-old Charles Hurst.
Police say witnesses told officers Hurst was drinking all day and was on his way to the store to buy more alcohol.
