KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Just in time for the new year, the road to Neyland Stadium is getting a makeover. Peyton Manning Pass will get the checkerboard look of Shields-Watkins football field.
Thanks to UT's Senior Gift Campaign fund, the main route for the Vol Walk will feature a Power T with two checkerboard end zones.
UT officials expect workers to be finished by Saturday, the same day students start moving in. Fall semester classes begin on August 22.
