KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) Vols fans come in all shapes and sizes, and one of the smallest is making a big debut as the Vols take on the Auburn tigers.
Four year old James Moneyhun's orange fueled passion is centered around one tradition: the sights and sounds of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band.
More than a year ago, James began practicing his own musical skills. From trumpets to piccolos, James could supply his own band. But ask him his favorite, and it's all about the drum major.
He's a sight to behold on a ladder in his front yard. His orange uniform is authentic, his movements precise and his discipline unparalleled.
It's enough to get an invitation from the band to walk onto the field of the 2013 homecoming game to conduct the halftime show.
When asked how he feels, "just excited," he says.
His inspiration began early.
"We go to all the games that are home games," said James.
He continues to practice with the help of YouTube and soon, his own experience.
