Calling all princesses for the Rossini Street Festival

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Knoxville Opera's Annual Rossini Festival and International Street Fair is set for April 27,2013.

A new addition is the princess parade and tea put on by Tea at the Gallery.

Street Fair Performances of Cinderella at Tennessee Theater April 26th and 28th 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This is the 12th year of event.

About 60,000 - 100,000 people attend, depending on weather.

It spans 10 hours, 11 city blocks and Market Square and takes about 400 volunteers to put it on.

Local and Regional multi-cultural music and dance performances on 4 outdoor stages featuring 35 groups & 800 entertainers

Local and Regional artisan exhibits featuring hand-crafted works
(2) world-class fully-staged opera performances of Rossini's Cinderella at the magnificent Tennessee Theatre.

There is a family-friendly Fun Zone with interactive activities and arts engagement for youth.

Expect over 30 food/beverage booths, over 100 artisan exhibits
