Play golf and fight Alzheimer's disease

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The 9th Annual Memory Links Golf Classic to benefit Alzheimer's Tennessee tees off Monday, June 24th at Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club.

The day includes a round of golf, the "Big Shot Drive" coordinated by the Knox County Sheriff's Department, a silent auction, lunch courtesy of Arby's and the golf ball drop from a helicopter.

Even if you don't play golf, you can win a grand prize of $2,500 from the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. All you have to do is stop by Gettysvue on Monday, June 24th from 9:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.and buy your chance to win.

It's only $5.00 per chance and if your ball is the closest to the pin or goes into the hole; you will win $2,500.

All the money raised from the event will help to continue research and care for people with Alzheimer's disease here in Tennessee.
