BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Campbell County man is accused of taking police on a wild ride Sunday morning.
A spokesperson for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park tells local 8 news that a park ranger saw Brian Ivey trying to break into a vehicle on Newfound Gap Road.
When the ranger tried to pull Ivey over, police say he drove off in a pick-up truck out of the park.
Blount County deputies took over the pursuit after Ivey fled the park, and police eventually took him into custody after he crashed.
