Police chase ends with man in custody


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)--Knox County deputies chased down a suspect and we were there when they arrested him. The chase came to an end in North Knox County on West Parkway Avenue.

Deputies rammed the black truck on the drivers side. There's some damage on the front fender. The pick up ran over several things in its path. Officials took Jeremy Woody, 40. into custody. Investigators tell us they've been looking for him on an aggravated robbery warrant.

Woody is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault on a police officer failure to yield to emergency equipment, evading arrest, and driving on a suspended license. His total bond amount is $105,000.
