JACKSBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The LaFollette Police Dept. is searching for the man who robbed the Riggs Pharmacy in Jacksboro last Thursday. Police say the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded "Oxy's," only to be told they didn't have any.
The robber then demanded cash instead and, after putting the money in a small light-colored satchel, took off out the door and toward the Tennova Medical Center.
The suspect was described as a thinly-built, white man in his mid-20's, wearing a gray hoodie with something green on the upper parts of the sleeves and across the front. He was wearing carpenter-style blue jeans and a blue handkerchief over the lower part of his face. He was carrying a silver, snub-nosed revolver which he held in a "gangster"-like hold.
