Properly dispose of unwanted medication this weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Members of the East Tennessee Regional Medication Collection Coalition are collecting and properly disposing unwanted medicines this weekend.

You can drop your old medicine off between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Saturday during the Healthy Living Expo at the Knoxville Convention Center.

Those who drop off medication will receive one free ticket to the Healthy Living Expo.

At all other times, Knox County residents can bring old or unused medicines to the Knoxville Police Department Safety Building on Howard Baker Jr. Ave.
