KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- According to one of the renters...22 people were allowed to go home after a Saturday night apartment fire in LaFollette.
LaFollette firefighters responded to a fire at 111 E Central Street. The fire was contained to one apartment, but 22 people living in the complex have been relocated as a precaution of smoke inhalation.
The Red cross helped find temporary shelter for the residents.
What caused the flames is still under investigation, but it is believed to have started on a sofa.
The LaFollette Fire Department reports police officers arrested one person at the scene for reasons unknown at this time.
There have been no injuries reported.
