The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered Sunday after he reportedly jumped off "the bluff" at Tellico Lake and drowned, according to emergency officials.
According to dispatch, the call came in just before 9 p.m. Saturday night. They said they received a report of a man who jumped from "the bluff" and never made it back up.
Rescue crews found his body around 11:30 a.m., according to the Greenback Fire Department.
Multiple rescue agencies were involved in the recovery.
