Santa visits Magnolia Ave. Pilot

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A tradition going strong for years continued in east Knoxville today.

Santa Claus and his helpers were giving out gifts at the Pilot on Magnolia Avenue.

Throughout the year, employees collected money to help make it happen. They give some families struggling to enjoy Christmas, something to be cheerful about.

"I just like that they are excited. They think, seeing Santa. I don't know, it's just pleasing to me that they are excited," said Monique Hopkins, who got her daughter and son gifts.

That Pilot raised $1,000 for the giveaway.
