A Local 8 Weather Alert has been issued for today. Because of the threat of rain, thunder and even hail, outdoor activities may be disrupted or inconvenienced. What's going on? An upper-level low will be moving across East Tennessee today, creating a more unstable atmosphere.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- KPD dispatch tells us there was only one person inside of the car. She was transported to UT Medical Center and she is in stable condition.
A Saturday morning wreck shuts down I-640 just west of Broadway.
KPD dispatch confirm the call came in just after 10 o'clock Saturday morning.
Very little is known right now but our crews on scene tell us that one car had flipped onto its top.
