School officials invite public to talk about school security

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) - It's a hot topic: school security. Knox County Schools is holding a public meeting tonight at 6. We spoke with several parents this morning as they dropped their kids off. One parent said,"The entrance door is a ways from the office. If nobody is there someone can get in concerns me."

Other parents we talked with say they aren't worried.

Tonight's meeting is at Amherst Elementary School. It's open to everyone. We'll be there and bring you updates throughout our newscasts.
