Services set for two boys electrocuted in Cherokee Lake

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Services have been set for the two boys who died after being electrocuted in Cherokee Lake on Independence Day.

Visitation for both Nate Lynam and Noah Winstead will be Sunday, July 8th, starting at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 504 W. Main St. in Morristown, with dual services beginning at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the families are asking for donations to be made to Cornerstone Academy or the FBC Children's Building.

Investigators say faulty or frayed wiring from the house boat could have caused the shock that killed the 11 year-old Lynam and 10 year-old Winstead. But no word yet on the full investigation.
