PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A new business that lets you see the city by Segway has opened in the Old Mill area.
Segway of Pigeon Forge sells and rents the two-wheeled stand up scooter.
Louise Wuebker and Shawn Arnder opened the business about a month ago. So far they've taken young to the young at heart out for a stroll.
"Everyone that has ridden with us have just given great reviews they have just loved every minute of it," said Wuebker. "We go up to 6 times a day."
Your experience starts in the Old Mill area and takes you along the river on the city's greenway up to the Island, getting you close to nature. Your journey back on the Parkway then shows you just how busy the city can get.
"When we go out on the Parkway people wave and honk and we enjoy the support of the community," she said. "It's a whole different experience. You get to see things you don't get to see from a car."
Segway of Pigeon Forge is open 7 days a week and runs $39.95 for 1.5 hours.
