The company provides warehousing, quality inspection, packaging and fulfillment to the military and automotive and medical industries.
Once the 34,000-square-foot addition is completed, Quality Solutions will add light manufacturing to its Sevierville operation.
"The community's very supportive of bringing in new businesses and growth in this area," said Adam Miles with Quality Solutions Group. "It'll be 40 hours a week, mostly day shift but sometimes we may have to go into a 2nd or 3rd shift depending on the work we're asked to do."
The expansion will cost $1.5 million.
County economic leaders say this is 25 families that will be impacted by the year round employment.
Allen Newton, Executive Director of Sevier County Economic Development Council says these new additions are just part of the bigger picture Sevier County is looking at with expanding industrial operations.
Newton says the county is looking to finalize a deal that would make a 115 acre site off Interstate 40 a new industrial park.
"Tourism is our big industry here," said Newton. "But you know not everyone wants to work in tourism. So we want to provide as many opportunities as we possibly can. Certainly Quality Solutions Group has been a great community partner doing that."
