Seymour rings in the holiday with parade

SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Thousands of people lined Chapman Highway on Saturday afternoon for the 19th Annual Seymour Christmas Parade.

The parade followed the southbound lanes of Chapman Highway and was lead by the Grand Marshal, Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, and they Seymour High School Marching Band lead off the parade.

The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department helped organize the parade and proceeds from the event will go to benefit families in need from area schools.
