KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- What better day than Valentine's Day to surprise the sisters who put the love into the Love Kitchen?
That's what a group from Chroma, a Maryville auto accessories distributor, thought when it decided to share the Valentine's love.
So, they teamed up with Athena Awards, got some donations together and presented Helen and Ellen with a $1,000 check on Thursday.
The gift caught the sisters totally by surprise and, of course, they were thrilled to get it.
