KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police responded to a call of shots being fired at a moving vehicle a little after 8 AM Saturday around Kingston Pike and Alcoa Highway.

Officers say the vehicles were going south on Alcoa before turning around and getting off on 17th Street. The vehicles then separated.

The victim said several shots were fired at his maroon Dodge Stratus. The suspect was driving a tan Chevrolet Malibu.

Matthew Orr, 34, was taken into custody on Magnolia Avenue and charged with aggravated assault.

Police say the two know each other, and the incident appears to be part of a domestic issue.
