MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A new app on iTunes will help driving enthusiasts, motorcyclists and more explore the scenic highways of the Smoky Mountains.
The app features 7 road maps and is called "The Circle the Smokies" app.
The app can be utilized by tourists and locals as they travel from Townsend, Tenn., to Clingman’s Dome to Cherokee, N.C.; the Blue Ridge Parkway, Townsend to Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge, Townsend to Cades Cove, the Cherohala Skyway, the Foothills Parkway and the infamous Dragon.
“The Circle the Smokies app is a must for anyone traveling around this area looking for great scenic views of the Smoky Mountains,” said Tami Vater, Blount Partnership Director of Tourism.
