KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday night in Western Heights.
When officers arrived to Jouralman Ave. they found one girl with multiple stab wounds.
According to first responders her injuries are not serious but she was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Officers took a suspect who lived at the crime scene to the police station for questioning.
No names are being released due to the age of one party involved.
Charges are currently pending.
