A LOCAL 8 WEATHER ALERT is posted Monday - Wednesday due to significant rainfall amounts expected to accumulate. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch until Wednesday at 7am. We expect 2-4 inches of rain that could lead to some localized flooding in areas prone to flooding. This event will also create a slow commute to and from work Monday and Tuesday, and then again on Wednesday morning.

In Harriman, the Food City sign was blown over. Parts of the Beaty Chevrolet building on Parkside Drive were toppled too.
