"Stuff the Van" for back to school

JACKSBORO, Tenn. (WVLT)-- In less than a month thousands of kids will head back to school but some may not be able to afford the supplies they'll need. However, the Campbell County Sheriff's department is here to help.

They will be in front of the Jacksboro Walmart on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.
If you can't make it out; then you can visit the sheriff's department anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to drop off your donated supplies. The department is located at 610 Main Street, Jacksboro TN 37757. (Map located below)

They are asking for basic school supplies: pens, pencils, paper, glue sticks, notebooks, folders, hard pencil cases, scissors, rulers, markers, crayons and book bags.

All the donated items will go to kids in Campbell County on August 3rd at the La Follette Elementary School from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Thousands of children were helped last year and they hope to help a thousand more this year!
