BLOUNT CO., Tenn (WVLT)-- The Tennessee Highway Patrol were out in full force over the weekend.
Their goal was crackdown on unsafe driving on Highway 129, specifically, the Dragon.
Troopers wrote a total of 156 citations, 105 to people driving motorcycles and 51 to people driving cars or trucks.
The most citations were given out for helmet violations, 39 people were either not wearing a helmet or were not wearing a properly regulated helmet.
17 seat-belt violations and 33 speeding tickets were written.
They also responded to 3 crashes, one was fatal.
