Tanker crash in Knox County, Ky.

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT) -- Kentucky State Police say a commercial vehicle crashed near mile marker 10 on KY 6 in Knox County around 8:30 AM Friday.

Troopers say 29-year-old Casey Vaughn, of Barbourville, lost control of his cargo tanker and went off the road, causing him to overturn.

The cargo tanker was able to contain all 3,450 pounds of the class 3 flammable hazmat load of Petroleum Crud Oil without any leaks and Vaughn was not hurt.

Drug and alcohol are not suspected factors and Vaughn was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
