KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) According to the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 50 percent of teen mothers get a high school diploma.
Knox adolescent pregnancy prevention initiative is working to change that.
Today an event was held to help teens learn different parenting skills.
One teen mother we spoke to says the program is a big help.
Several area businesses and organizations put this event together for teens in the area.
