KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee Aquatics held a swimming clinic Saturday morning to teach kids the breast stroke and raise breast cancer awareness.
Called "Breast for Breast", the clinic raised money for the UT Cancer Institute. UT swimmers, coaches and even Olympians like Davis Tarwater helped teach kids the essentials of the breast stroke.
Money raised will help those currently battling breast cancer, like Kim Kredich, who is married to UT's head swim coach.
"To see this, with people in the community I don't even know wearing these pink shirts, Breast for Breast - knowing that wow, I was part of the catalyst for this idea. It's truly overwhelming," said Kredich.
Organizers said the clinic raised about $10,000.
