Thousands expected for Fantasy of Lights parade tonight

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT)-- A star from the Dukes of Hazard and a skiing legend will serve at Grand Marshals of the Gatlinburg Christmas Parade tonight.

Gatlinburg’s 37th annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade will showcase one of the City’s largest and best known attraction families, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, Aerial Tramway and Amusement Park, which is celebrating its 50th season..

Catherine Bach, known for her role as Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazard, and local skiing legend Rolf Lanz will serve as the parade's Grand Marshals in downtown Gatlinburg.

The Gatlinburg parade attracts about 70,000 people each year downtown, the parade is scheduled to start at 7:30 and go through the Parkway.
