Thousands gather to honor Bobby Denton

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - More than one thousand people came together Monday night at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville to celebrate the life of Bobby Denton.

UT Coach Butch Jones paid his respects to the the longtime voice of Neyland Stadium.

Hallerin Hill, Mickey Dearstone and Jimmy Hyams all took part in the service and a taped message from Peyton Manning was played.

A video tribute also played showing all of Denton's passions: UT sports, country music and East Tennessee
