KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knoxville Police are looking for three suspects in connection to a deadly shooting.
It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Discount Tobacco Store located at 3120 E Magnolia Ave.
According to police, the three men entered the store --two of them armed-- and shot at store employee Parvez Ahmed who was stocking the store coolers.
Ahmed was transported to UT Medical Center where he died.
Police said the first shot fired missed another employee and hit the cashier instead. The suspects did not take any money or merchandise because of a language barrier, police said.
The suspect who fired at the victim was described as a black male wearing a black Jack Daniels jacket. He has 6 to 8 inch braids or dreads.
