ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The right lane on Interstate 40 East near mile marker 347 will be closed from 10 PM Saturday to 8 AM Sunday for milling and paving.
TDOT says vehicles larger than 12 feet wide will not be allowed through the area due to the restricted width across the bridge.
During the construction, they will have to get off the road before Exit 340 (Airport Road) and use a different route.
During the work, the exit ramp to Harriman will be closed to all vehicle. Drivers wanting to get on US 27 should follow the detour to Exit 350 and get on I-40 West back to Exit 347.
