Roane County, Tenn. (WVLT) - Shawn Smoot is facing murder charges. He's charged with the murder of his former girlfriend, Brooke Morris.
Smoot has pleaded not guilty and is still in jail. On Friday, his attorney made a court appearance on his behalf.
