KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two people are dead after an early morning crash in Seymour.
It happened on Chapman Highway next to Rodgers Road. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a red Yukon t-boned a white Toyota Matrix turning out of Tittsworth Spring Road onto Chapman Highway.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says16-year-old Caitlyn Coates and 56-year old Robin Miller, both from Seymour, were killed in the crash.
Both were wearing seatbelts. Forty-nine year old Joey Mannon III, also from Seymour, was injured in the crash. THP reports Mannon has been cited for disregarding a red light.
