Lake City, Tenn. (WVLT) A 400 mile yard sale along US-25 began today. It runs from Anderson County in Tennessee all the way up into Kentucky.
People were out along the route near Lake City selling their goods.
There were all kinds of items for sale; something for everyone.
"Its stuff I've saved all my life, and since I moved down here, I just, decided to make room and get rid of it," says Larry Day, who has been in Eastern Tennessee for a year.
A few miles up the road, the Wayman family is also selling their things. They said that anything they don't sell, they will donate to charity.
The yard sale will last until Saturday. Eventually organizers hope it will span the whole length of US-25.
