KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police and the University of Tennessee are looking for two men who may be behind a possible home invasion.
UT Police issued an alert about the incident which happened at an apartment at 1301 Bridge Avenue.
Knoxville police confirm a neighbor called 911 while witnessing a possible breaking and entering. That was around 8:30 Saturday night.
UT's alert gave a description of the accused criminals.
One man is described as being a black man who is six feet four inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was seen last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and has short hair.
The second man is described as a black man who is five feet nine inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket and carrying a shotgun.
A third man is described as being five feet nine inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a mask and a black beanie.
KPD is also investigating another report of an aggravated burglary at approximately 10:04 p.m. Saturday evening in the 1700 block of Lake Avenue. The victims, four UT students, advised authorities that three unknown males entered their apartment uninvited. The males brandished a firearm and stole items from the victims. The suspects fled on foot southbound. No one was injured.
One suspect was arrested by police moments after the incident occurred. It is undetermined if this incident is related to a prior incident with similar description earlier Saturday on Bridge Avenue.
Of the two unapprehended suspects, the first is described as a black male, between 17 and 20 years old, wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and tennis shoes.
The second suspect is a black male, between 17 and 20 years old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
