KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) --It's almost football time in Tennessee and Vol fans can't wait!

"I'm looking forward to it and I think they'll actually do pretty good this year," said season ticket holder Colin Dawson.

UT Associate Athletic Director of Ticket Operations Joe Arnone said online sales are booming, but a little less so than last year. It's something the athletic department believes is more a symptom of the times than the team.

"Our season tickets are a little bit down from last year, but when you compare us to everything that's going on in the economy, we're doing unbelievable," Arnone said.

Interim Athletics Director Joan Cronan added, "I feel really good about the Tennessee fans and what they do. Under for us is bigger than anybody else!"

And on game days nothing keeps the fans from their football.

Arnone said, "I think what we're going to end up seeing, probably similar to last year, we had huge walk up crowds for individual game tickets."

Dawson told us, "It's Tennessee, every body's going to show up for it!"

This will be the 1st year they'll be scanning tickets at Neyland Stadium, so if you decide to buy individual game day tickets, you can print them out at home and go.
