KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Firefighters quickly put out a fire in an apartment at Walter P. Taylor Homes around 12:30 Sunday.
The fire was contained to one room in the apartment near Parking Lot L, and in a release the Knoxville Fire Department said the fire was likely caused by a clothes pile next to a space heater.
There were no injuries, but smoke damage was through the apartment.
