KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A day after John Duncan III resigned in disgrace, the Knox Co. Board of Commissioners has opened the floor for his old job. On Tuesday, the Board announced it would begin taking resumes from candidates looking to be appointed to the office of Knox Co. Trustee..
Potential candidates have until 12:00 p.m. on July 15, 2013 to turn in their resumes. They may be submitted via mail, fax, e-mail, or hand-delivered. (see address in sidebar).
After receiving all the resumes the Board will hold a Public Hearing at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2013 in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building, 400 West Main Street.
The Trustee will then be selected a week later during the regularly scheduled Commission meeting on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
